Indian wedding always see the brides steal the show. Everything is so perfect about the way the brides look on that special day that hardly anyone glances at the poor groom. Traditionally the wedding dresses for Indian grooms wear white. But this is the matter of survival on that special day for grooms. Though it is still white for Eastern and Southern Indian grooms, Northern and Western Indian grooms added a little color in their dresses. Most of the grooms in Northern and Western India like to wear sherwani on their wedding.
Mostly this dress including the shoes is a one-time affair. Grooms mostly do not use these a second time in their life. My husband wore white because we are from Eastern India, and I have not seen him wearing it second time.
