Lehenga Choli is a traditional Indian wear for women. It is a two part garment. The lower portion is called Lehenga and the upper portion is called Choli. Other than Lehenga it is also called Ghagra. A lehenga is a skirt which is long, embroidered and pleated. It is worn as the bottom portion. It is secured at the waist or hips and leaves the lower back and midriff bare.
Lehenga Choli are famous in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat in India. Where women wear these as wedding dress and in various folk dances and traditional parties.
A choli is a midriff-baring blouse. It is cut to fit tightly to the body and mostly short sleeves and a low neck. It is usually cropped, allowing exposure of the neval. Choli also worn with Saree.
